After 12 sweet, sweet years in South Yarra, Burch & Purchese Sweet Studio will be closing its doors for the final time on Saturday April 8th 2023.
We want to express our heartfelt thanks to all our customers for their unwavering support over the years. Your loyalty has been the driving force behind our success, and we are grateful for each one of you. We have been privileged to be a part of your special occasions, birthdays, weddings and events. We have enjoyed serving you, and we will never forget the joy and happiness we have been able to bring into your lives through our sweet creations.
We are extremely proud of our accomplishments here at B&P, this kitchen has catered for all the big events including Grand Prix’s, Logies, Spring Racing Carnivals, NGV Gala’s and so much more. We’ve hosted unique dessert degustation dinners in store, collaborated with local and international brands and B&P have popped up as far away as Europe and as close as Ramsay Street.
We have had wedding proposals in store (100% success rate) and have made celebration cakes and desserts for so many more memorable occasions. We’ve even made wedding cakes for couples who now ask us to make birthday cakes for their children. That is special and something we are proud of.
Our business has seen so many talented team members through the doors and many have gone on to even greater things, we are proud of you all. We thank all our previous and current colleagues; we could not have done this without you.
We’ve had the time of our lives baking for you but it’s time for us to explore other creative pursuits and of course Darren will be keeping busy in his role as judge on The Great Australian Bake Off. There are also delicious cookbooks to write, online classes to host, pop ups to be had and collaborations to work on. We are launching a new website later this year with recipes, food inspo, videos and much more.
Plus, yes! We want to hear from you if you think we can work together.
As we prepare to say goodbye, we want to assure you that we will do everything we can to ensure that our final days are filled with sweet memories and fond farewells. We will continue to provide our high-quality service and will be open for our usual pre-order business online until our final day. We would love to see as many of you as possible during this time.
